Hi Steve,
'Barred Owl Sleeping Against a Tree' is terrific!
If someone described that scene to me it might be a bit hard to swallow but the proof is in the pudding. Well Done! :)
P.S. my P&S to DSLR conversion is going well...
The 28-300 VR lens you suggested arrives Wednesday AND I was just tweaking an image in Lr when this photo's email alert popped in.
Look forward to more pix so please keep 'em coming.
BTW, is there a place where we can see your image metadata?
As a beginner, I plan to focus on learning the Aperture/Shutter Speed/ISO settings and seeing the numbers may aid in developing a basic sense for settings.
Thanks for the great shot!

Wow Steve :)
Your photos are absolutely fantastic!
I am viewing the slideshow on my iPhone and the level of clarity and crispness is astonishing. I see what you mean about my need for a camera upgrade...

Just when I think I can't see another outstanding image of an Osprey you deliver yet another one. Thanks you for the continued inspiration.
